Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan is an actress and member of SSC's board from 2011 is the co-founding artistic director of the recently formed theater firm Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. The producer was also, costume/set designer, composer/musician and text coach for SSC during her time as the Artistic Director of SSC. The last year of her tenure she worked as a director of lighting and design in SSC's production of King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble, however in last year made her directorial debut. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Markie Post is associated with several games programs in addition to her acting work. In her early years, she was brought up in Walnut Creek with her siblings as well as poet Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School was where she took classes and played soccer. Following a short stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Post had previously been married Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer from 1982. They have two daughters. Post is a great actress, ideal mother and wife, and also an excellent role model for numerous Hollywood celebrities.
