Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell (Fugees) on the hit song cover of Eddy Grant's "Electric Avenue". In the moment that Ky-Mani was on stage at Midem the international music event held in Miami for the first time, the power of his starpower was evident. Catering to an international audience with a capacity of over 20,000 people in the Cameo Theatre, Ky-Mani delivered an energetic set that was broadcast live by CANA (Caribbean News Agency) to more than 36 countries. Ky-mani Marley is now making the sixth studio album of his career, which showcases his development as an individual and also displaying the duality of his personality Ky-mani as well as Maestro. The result is an urban style that has roots in the reggae and hip-hop culture. This album promises to be an interesting departure from the synthetic pop which is typically considered to be a part of this style. It will instead be real urban hip-hop and reggaefusion. New single by the rapper is " New Heights" released the 3rd of March, 2011.
